Dance Instructor

Medicine Hat College’s Conservatory of Music and Dance invites applications for full and part time Dance Instructors. Instructors are being sought for RAD ballet, and competitive and recreational jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap and modern classes. Opportunities may also exist to teach additional forms of dance including musical theatre and acro.

Dance Instructor positions commence September 1, 2015 and are annually renewable subject to performance reviews and student enrolments. Remuneration is on an hourly fee-for-student/class basis. Full time positions come with an attractive benefits package, consisting of extended health and dental coverage as well as group life and long term disability insurance.

Qualifications:
• Relevant certification and/or a diploma or degree in the field
• A versatile dance background
• All combinations of education and experience will be considered

ABPA Canada located in Redcliff medicine hat is looking for a new teacher to join their team, with the growing interest of classes ABPA C seeks a teacher with training in classical ballet, hip hop , acro or gymnastics. The candidate does not have to be qualified as ABPA provides all the teachers who sign a 1 year contract the ability to study towards professional qualifications in all aspects of dance, drama and music. The position available is for MONDAY – FRIDAYS 3:30PM – 9-PM approx.
