Masterworks Touring Company is looking for dancers, 18-30 years old, to join their 2020-2021 season! Being a member of MTC means you will have opportunities to perform in several events throughout the season (September -June) and participate in outreaches both locally and abroad.

Audition Requirements:

(We will be accepting video auditions via email from March 1st-May 31st 2020)

• Introduce yourself: state your name, age, and years of experience in each style of dance you’ve studied

• Show your skills: perform a 1-2 minute choreographed Contemporary solo

• Demonstrate your technique:

Center Barre
- Pliés (demi and grand) in 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th positions

- Adagio including développés and relevé lent en croix

- Petite Allegro including jetés and assemblés

Across the Floor
- Leaps of your choice

- Pirouettes en dehor and en dedan

Payment is determined by the position within the company and ranges from Trainees, to Junior Company Members, and finally to Senior Company Members. Trainees pay $200 a month which includes unlimited classes at our mother studio Academie de Ballet, free costume rentals, and covers transportation costs to all U.S. events. Junior Company Members are expected to help guide Trainees and hold more of a leadership role and receive their training for free as well as unlimited classes, free costume rentals, and transportation costs to all U.S. events. Senior Members are paid $250 a month and are allotted the same perks as the previous two levels.

Train together with other MTC dancers three times a week and learn from amazing guest teachers! As a Contemporary company, we believe in having a strong Ballet base and also provide opportunities to grow in other styles so that members can continue to develop into proficient and well-rounded dancers.

Looking for dance instructors for a growing studio in Prince George, Virginia. We are looking to hire experienced teachers for Hip Hop for our 2014-2015 season.

Applicant will be responsible for teaching curriculum for children and adults beginner to advanced. Applicant needs to be highly organized, motivated and willing to choreograph for competitive and novice dancers. Needs to work well with other highly motivated instructors and compliment a fantastic team of instructors. Must be creative and inspiring to your students and studio families.
