Dance/Theater/Music Instructors Wanted:
A Step Above School of Performing Arts is seeking new instructors to join our faculty for the 2018-2019 school year and upcoming summer program. Our performing arts school, located between the city of Nogales and Rio Rico, has an emphasis on love for the art of dance with high academic achievement and a professional and positive environment. Our students currently range from ages 4 through high school and we offer classes in Creative Movement, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical as well as our Elite Performance Team. We focus on offering a positive family-friendly environment; our modesty promise (age-appropriate music, costumes, and choreography) to our parents is what sets us apart and builds trust with our families.
We have openings for dance instructors in various genres: Creative Dance, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. We also would like adult fitness instructors and theater or music teachers to grow our current performing arts program. Do you teach something else we haven’t listed? Feel free to contact us and let us know what you offer! We are seeking teachers who have a passion for dance and the performing arts and want bring out the best in our students. Position begins in August (or sooner, based on teacher availability). The school year runs from the beginning of August through mid-May. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience and credentials. Travel expenses may be included in your pay if your drive is more than 40 miles to our studio.
